Keywords: Finder access privileges Message-ID: <12680@wpi.wpi.edu> Date: 4 May 90 19:56:13 GMT Organization: Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Mass. Lines: 18 I'm writing a program which copies folders. This includes any files they may contain. My problem is that any time my program makes a new folder and copies a file into it, I can not throw out the folder from the finder. I get a message something like "You do not have access privileges to throw out a folder contained within that one." Can anyone advise me what parameters of files/folders control access privileges and what those parameters should be set to so that I can have access privileges on my own system (no appletalk networks here, my Mac is on its own). Thanks! -Jay Johan van Achterberg jayvana@wpi.wpi.edu Worcester Polytechnic Institute jayvana@wpi.bitnet Worcester, Massachussets, USA
