Can't reboot my Mac from MacsBug (in 6.0.5) Keywords: MacsBug, 6.0.5 Message-ID: <1990May6.075532.16575@cs.uoregon.edu> Date: 6 May 90 07:55:32 GMT Sender: usenet@cs.uoregon.edu (Netnews Owner) Reply-To: mings@cs.uoregon.edu (Ming Yau So) Organization: University of Oregon Computer Science Dept. Lines: 26 Hi, Mac Users, after I have upgraded the system on my hardisk to 6.0.5, I found that I can no longer restart (nor reboot) my Mac in MacsBug. This had not happened before when I was using system 6.0.3. My Mac did shutdown when I issued an "rs" (or "rb") command in MacsBug, then it gave me a SysBeep (which indicates it is powered up), and then just sits there. I have tried to pull all the inits out of the System Folder and restart my Mac, then go to MacsBug and try restart, but no help. I have also used disinfectant 1.7 to scan for any virus, but none were found. Did anyone have the same problem as me ? And does anybody have a solution ? Configuration of my system: MacPlus w/2MB System 6.0.5 MacsBug 6.1 Cuttin Edge Under the Mac 45+Meg Hard Drive Thanks for any response. --- Ming Yau So (mings@cs.uoregon.edu)
