The 4/15/90 AppleGram chart (which a coule of you posted) says 6.0.4 is "best system software for the hardware model." It recommends 6.0.5 only for the Mac IIfx. Yet the "Technical Information on 6.0.5" file in the Apple Color folder on the 6.0.5 Printing Tools disk says "Apple recommends using System 6.0.5 with any of the following products: Macintosh Portable, Macintosh IIci..." And should we NOT recommend 6.0.5 for the other Mac models? That's what the AppleGram chart implies. What's the real story? -John --- John O'Malley / Macintosh / Purdue University / (317) ajq@mace.cc.purdue.edu / Specialist / Computing Center / 494-1787
