Message-ID: <7223@ur-cc.UUCP> Date: 9 May 90 22:35:11 GMT Organization: Univ. of Rochester, Computing Center Lines: 15 I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience to what occured to me last night. I was closing up a MacWrite II document on my Mac Plus, when all of a sudden the screen blanked out and there were blinking white pixels in the upper left hand side of the screen. I immediately shut down the computer and turned it back on after a little while. When I turned it back on, the blinking white pixels were still there. There wasn't the usual BEEP and smiley Mac on the screen, just darkness. However, when I touched the switch, the gray screen appeared and the computer loaded as usual. I think it's the switch. I bought the computer in September 1989. Is this is a common occurence? Thanks. Kenneth
