While reading comp.binaries.mac I do this: 1) save each segment into the same file (appended) 2) type 'mcvert filename' 3) and then 'rm filename.hqx' 4) what I have left over is something of the form 'filename.sit.bin' this file is a plain binary stuffit file ready for downloading. So far, this has worked no matter how many separate segments there are. The 'mcvert' source is available at sumex-aim.stanford.edu in the unix directory. It compiled fine on our system. You might also want to investigate related files like 'bhcomb', 'unsit', and so forth... --- Piper Keairnes ** General Consultant-UNIX/VM/IBM/MAC ** ar4@sage.cc.purdue.edu ** Macintosh Specialist ** Purdue Univ.
