My parents have a Mac 512K at home that my brother would like to use
occasionally for solving non-linear equations.  The problem is that he
doesn't have any software that allows this.  Are there any suggestions
for something that is PD or available commercially for under $50?

I guess that an alternative is a PD or cheap compiler/interperter like
BASIC.  Does anyone know if something like this is available?
