We already have most systems (including PC's) connected to Ethernet (thick and thin at this stage - any comments on costs compared to twisted pair?). The main requirements from the PC are: 1. File sharing 2. Terminal emulation (both VT100 and 3270) 3. E-mail between all above systems (any real experience with X.400?) Some of the products we are considering are PCSA, PC-NFS and TOPS. If you have experience or care to advise/comment on the usage of any of the above mentioned products (or others) please e-mail to me. If required, I will summarise for the net. Thank you for your support, regards, -- osman khan, philips components, building bc136, eindhoven, the netherlands tel: +31-40-723802 fax: +31-40-723846 uucp: khan@seri.philips.nl OR khan@phcoms.uucp OR ..!mcvax!phcoms!khan
