There is a faculty member who has purchased a NeXT.  He has it configured
as a NetInfo network of one.  He says that his mail icon continually
says that he has mail (i.e. always has the angle-letter or whatever it is).
If he opens the mail app, it does not show him having mail, but it he
closes the app again, it indicates he has mail.  He can send/receive mail
fine, but just has this minor problem of not knowing from the icon if he
has mail or not.

Any ideas?
