As with the previous posting, we need to send it uuencoded. I suggest we do the following: 1. tar or shar associated mailings 2. compress the result - USING 12 BIT COMPRESSION 3. uuencode that result 4. post, along with its "crc" Using 12 bit compression allows decompression on any machine (even a PC :-( Sending all file crc's will ensure we all have a common base for upgrages (patches). To start the ball rolling, I will mail the crc program from MINIX. It compiles ok on Silicon Graphics' workstations, Sun's, and others I presume.
