  Hello folks,

  I'm sorry if you find this posting inappropriate for this news
  group.

  We are currently looking to buy a super computer.  We have currently
  heard sales pitches from Convex, Alliant, Intel, NCube, Cray and
  Thinking Machines.  I would be interested (that is why I posted :-)
  to hear any comment that you have about any of these companies
  or any of their products.  Also if you have a favorite or least
  favorite company that is not on my list, I would also like to 
  hear from you.  We are fairly sure that we want a UNIX based OS,
  and it must be good at running Fortran (our Researchers don't
  want to reprogram, but are willing to go to a Parallel architecture.
  (Yes, I've tried to tell them that that is not trivial, but...))

  If there is interest in this topic I will gladly summarize to 
  the net.

  Please send responses via Email, I will also be reading here thou
  if you can't get mail to me, but I do not want to cause alot of
  traffic, unless you all want alot of traffic.
