Has anyone successfully compiled this on a D-machine?  I was aware
that some of the patches to rainy-day broke PCL under Medley, and
these seem to be incorporated into may-day.  Given some time I could
work out which patches exactly they are, but if someone else has
already done it...  On the same subject: does anyone know whether the
differences between rainy-day and may-day PCL actually matter on a
D-machine -- I haven't studied its innards at all!
