Message-ID: <38664@brunix.UUCP> Date: 3 May 90 19:50:27 GMT Sender: news@brunix.UUCP Reply-To: freedman@euclid.math.temple.edu (Avi Freedman) Organization: Math Department, Temple University, Philadelphia Lines: 10 Hi. I've got an interesting request. Two of the crazy computer science people here at Temple insist on putting a PDP-8 up on the Department's LAT network. It seems like a neat idea, and I know (think?) that before Unix was ported to C/PDP-11 assembly, it was running in assembly on some older kind of PDP. Does anyone have any idea whether Unix for the PDP 8 ever existed/is available/ could be donated/could be written by a crazy bunch of people? - Avi Freedman freedman@euclid.math.temple.edu
