As expected the grab cursor is displayed for all pointer locations on the screen, but after XUngrabPointer is called all windows revert to their pre-grab cursors - except for the grab window. A solution is simple, but I'm curious: shouldn't the grab window's pre-grab cursor be reinstalled? I've been through Section 7.4 of the Xlib tome. Is "unmentioned" the same as "undefined"? :> -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Rod Sprattling DialCom: 8*833-7054 sprattlingrl@crd.ge.com rls@onondaga.crd.ge.com uunet!crd.ge.com!sprattlingrl You can appreciate the difference between dedication and commitment whenever you see a plate of ham and eggs: the hen was dedicated; the pig was committed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------
