Help please! I am not an X expert (I really don't use it at all - I am
a system administrator who has been "requested" to put up X). I just
installed X11R4 with the 11 fixes. It seems to run just fine on Sun3/50
(Sun's "bwtwo" device). On 3/60C's, however, after running "xinit", the
system hangs up (even "pings" from other hosts are ignored!) with the
standard grey stippled background and no cursor. As mentioned above,
we are running SunOS 3.4. Can anybody shed some light on where I might
poke to get things to a better state here? Alas, I am not a regular
reader of this newsgroup so please *mail* any responses to me. If there
is suffient demand, I will summarize back in this newsgroup.
