Organization: Scientific Computing Division/NCAR, Boulder, CO Lines: 14 We are running an application on a DecStation 3100, under DecWindows. The application uses widgets from the Motiff widget set. When we are trying to process a large data set the window containing the widgets is not being updated by the X server. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem except that we want to display the status of the processing. In other words, we want to display a message in the window when we have processed every 10 percent of the data. At this time, it is impossible to do this since we are trying to display this information in the window that isn't being refreshed. Any suggestions on how to get around this problem would be greatly appreciated. Dan Wells (gadget@redcloud.UCAR.EDU)
