I noticed that xcalendar from the MIT X11R4 distribution
requires Xaw to be compiled with the XAW_BC (backwards
compatibility) switch.  Perhaps there's a newer xcalendar
somewhere that does not require this?  Perhaps there are
simple changes which allow this program to be used without
a backwards-compatible library?
