Our site has a couple of NCD X terminals serving off a Sun 3/260. We seem to have noticed that one of the NCD's has a distressing habit of blowing up (literally) when left turned on for longish periods. What I was after was a way of configuring xdm to detect that a particular display is now available and to start an authentification widget on it (ie at the X Terminal's boot time) Surely this can be done (just as surely as I don't have a clue how to do it) and surely someone has done it. I even seem to vaguely remember seeing something along those lines somewhere. If anyone out there knows if this is possible, PLEASE help me!! regards...
