                  POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSISTANT

               HUMAN DEVELOPMENTAL MOLECULAR GENETICS

     A postdoctoral research post is now available in the Division
of Molecular Medicine to investigate human genes with roles in the
control of embryogenesis.  'Reverse genetic' techniques will be used
to isolate and clone the gene mutated in Greig cephalopolysyndactyly
syndrome (GCPS), a condition with characteristic abnormal
craniofacial and limb morphogenesis.  Applicants must have received
a training in molecular genetic techniques, applications from
students who are 'writing up' are welcomed.
