Mush 7.0 and earlier took the view that the user should be responsible for exiting with "exit" (as opposed to "quit") in *any* situation where the folder should not be updated. This is somewhat silly in the case of a read-only folder, and furthermore was partially broken in tool mode. Version 7.1 has changed this to the more obvious behavior.
