Lines: 11 A couple of people have asked how to programmatically import text into dBASE memo fields. I'm sorry in advance for my self-serving, not-very-useful answer, but it is: use dBASE IV, which has commands to do this very thing. I don't know of any way to accomplish this in dBASE III except using an editor and reading in text files by hand, one at a time. BTW, I've been away from the net for a few weeks--hope I haven't missed any vital questions about dBASE. /alastair/
