'Hot potato' is an understatement. After they set up an arrangement with Raima to use the db_VISTA database as a backend to their code generator, they inexplicably changed the deal after getting a lot of inquiries from Vista's mailings. All of a sudden they were forcing gargantuan support fees onto anybody who wanted to use PRO-C. Our attempts at explaining a needless support requirement were met with condescending statements as to how we don't really know how difficult it is to write in C etc. etc. I basically told them to go to hell and stick their damn package where the sun ... We'll see how long they survive. fred -- Fred Rump "Do not meddle in the affairs of cats, for they are subtle and will 26 Warren St. piss on your computer." domain: fr@icdi10.compu.com Beverly, NJ. 08010 uucp: ...{bpa dsinc uunet}!cdin-1!icdi10!fr 609-386-6846 "Freude...
