They have a very low buget, ( < $6000 ) but are now only wanting to get the basics in place, a file server and the neccesary hardware, one workstation. They have some XT's and can use one as a workstation, and can get a 386 with 2MB memory and 100 MB disk drive for about $3000 leaving the budget at $3000 for the network software and hardware. Am I dreaming, or is it possible. The network is for file, and printer sharing, and e-mail.
