Summary: There are many B-node implementations for DOS, some Unix servers Message-ID: <1016@ftp.COM> Date: 31 May 90 17:14:16 GMT References: <90150.231058SO-MJH@finou.oulu.fi> Organization: FTP Software Inc., Wakefield, MA Lines: 12 Excelan, Ungermann-Bass, CMC, InterLAN, 3Com and possibly others support RFC 1001/1002 for DOS on their own hardware. FTP Software, Wollongong and possibly others have hardware-independent Netbioses for DOS. 3Com and Excelan have OS/2 Netbioses, and Syntax and NCR (at least) offer Unix-based SMB file server products that use the RFC 1001/1002 protocols (although they don't present a Netbios programming interface on the Unix system). -- James B.
