They will primarily be used for host to host communications (ie. SLIP, UUCP, kermit). I know that there are a lot of choices available today, but I am not an informed modem buyer. Can anyone suggest a good 9600 bps modem with some sort of data compression and error correction? Please give me some details on why you think the modem you have listed is a good choice.
