No luck. The client has a USR Sportster 2400 PC, and the home machine is a TB+ set to answer with PEP tones first. The Sportster barfs (read: NO CARRIER) at the first hint of those PEP tones. Is this normal? Do I have to change the order of answers for this fershligginer modem? -- Kevin O'Gorman ( kevin@kosman.UUCP, kevin%kosman.uucp@nrc.com ) voice: 805-984-8042 Vital Computer Systems, 5115 Beachcomber, Oxnard, CA 93035 Non-Disclaimer: my boss is me, and he stands behind everything I say.
