It's a sad state of affairs when this sort of program has to be discontinued. This LD carrier competition is getting pretty harsh. Mr. Berch posted that deaf phone users should not get a discount. I disagree. The fact that the TDD user has such poor bandwidth communications is cause for discount. If ATT ends the discount, don't you think that MCI or Sprint will capitalize with a PR coup? How does TDD traffic do on heavily stat-muxed channels? Perhaps MCI ought to give a discount -- they were fiends for stat-muxing years ago. /eli
