Lines: 20 Does anybody have a program that will let me scan through saved news articles and save or discard them according to the following algorithm? Look at each file specified in ARGV. Show me a screenful of it, more on request, suppressing headers I don't want to see. Then, depending on my wishes, either (a) rename it to something or (b) let it stay as it is or (c) move it into a .deleted subdirectory. When deciding what to rename it to, use a good default name (based on an Archive-name: header if found, else the Subject: line), and let me either accept the default or enter a new filename. If renaming it would conflict with an existing file, handle that gracefully, probably by adding a unique suffix to the intended name. Most important of all, the program should not have been thoroughly tested! Rahul Dhesi UUCP: oliveb!cirrusl!dhesi
