Message-ID: <1990May28.230003.9380@portia.Stanford.EDU> Date: 28 May 90 23:00:03 GMT Organization: Stanford Law School Lines: 21 Help! A friend is willing to sell me his Amdek colour monitor, but he doesn't know if it's CGA or EGA. All he can tell me is that it runs with his hercules graphic card. Well, my system supposedly has a CGA hercules graphics, and it doesn't work. By process of elimination I could assume that it is an EGA monitor, but I hate to spring for an EGA card only to find that is not the problem. All the monitor says on the back is that it is an "Amdek Color Display, Model No. Color 600". Anyone have any ideas? Email responses would be appreciated!
