Does anybody have good examples for object database applications? When 
the relational model came to being, the most used example was Employees
and Departments. I am looking for candidates like that for the object model.
I believe the example should show demonstrate the strength of the object
oriented systems, and preferebly be simple (i.e. a few classes) and yet be
a realistic problem.

If you have any ideas and/or references to published papers that address
this issue, and if you could send me your input I would really appreciate it.
