Oh, come off it.
Please don't compare a 64K PDP-11 to a 64K Atari!!!!
The '34 had _good_ memory management (please, don't start a discussion
on this.  We had one about two years ago...), whilst the Atari has not.
UNIX V7 only ran because it could use the MMU, plus a fair dose of swapping
of course.

In Short: forget it.  MINIX is too large (and too complicated) to run
on a 8-bit CPU architecture.  Multiuser on a 2MHz Z80?  Aaiiiii!!

On the PDP-11 subject:
I am currently engaged in writing a MINIX port for the PDP-11.
The new series of PDP-11's (MicroPDP, MicroVAX etc) are small 
enough to fit in one's room, sooo..
