Core HC310-PS 310MB ESDI hard drive (P60310). I've got some questions that I hope someone out in netland can answer: 1. Has ANYONE ever configured this combination? 2. Has anyone ever attempted to run Core's HDFORM.EXE (low-level format utility) on this combination? 3. Has anyone successfully completed both of the above? Now don't get me wrong -- these drives seem to work fine. It's just that it doesn't seem possible to perform a Low-Level format on them using the software Core supplies. As long as they work out of the box (which they all, thus far, have) everything seems fine. I only discovered this as I started to switch over to Netware from PC-LAN Program, and decided to re-low-level format the drives again. I can't get it to work. And, after 4 days on the phone with Core's tech support, I am no closer to a solution. Please - if you can offer any related personal experience with these drives, please send me some mail. All info will be GREATLY appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mark Medici * RUTGERS/CCIS/Microcomputer Services * medici@elbereth.rutgers.edu -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
