I just recieved mine. 1) I didn't get the postscript card yet. I ordered it before HP actually started shipping it. Does anyone know if HP has started shipping? That may be the reason I haven't recieved it yet. 2) I was reading the manual about the new PCL and saw that they have added a compression scheme they called tagged image file format. Does this imply that one can just send a TIFF file and the printer will understand how to print it, or is it mean that one of the many compression schemes that are in TIFF is supported? I would love it to be the former. #!/bin/sh #-----------------------------------------------------------------------# echo Bill Thorson thorson@typhoon.atmos.colostate.edu echo Dept of Atmospheric Science (303) 491-8339 echo Colorado State University echo Ft.
