i have a 386 running unix with adaptec 1540a host adapter.
connected to it are a wren v, a quantum pro80s and a seagate ST296N
hard disk. when i use the adaptec scsi utilities i can configure the control
pages of the drives, but many parameters don't mean anything to me, and i'm
not going to try it out what they mean. the question is: where do i get 
DETAILED information about those parameters ? i have the ansi scsi draft, and
it tells you a lot, but nothing about those parameters, although most seem to
be rather generic like the read/write error recovery control page. sure,
there are custom control pages like the one for the quantum cache, but i
thought those standard parameters would be in the standard paper...

any pointers would be appreciated !
