     I am working on a sensor kit to be used with a HERO 2000 robot.  It
will include such things as microswitches and IR LED/detector pairs and an
RS-232 interface to a SUN workstation.  I wish to know if anyone out
there has had experience with this type of a project and if so, if you have any
ideas for sensors, sources for parts, etc.,that may be helpful.
     Any suggestions would be appreciated.
