Pricing: will it change? Summary: What happens after June 30 to prices? Keywords: educational discount prices A3000 Message-ID: <1990May30.011331.13434@cunixf.cc.columbia.edu> Date: 30 May 90 01:13:31 GMT Sender: news@cunixf.cc.columbia.edu (The Daily News) Reply-To: es1@cunixb.cc.columbia.edu (Ethan Solomita) Distribution: usa Organization: Columbia University Lines: 19 I was told by someone I know at Commodore that the new educational price sheets say that the prices are subject to change at any time without notice, instead of the old sheet which said the prices were good through June 30. After June 30 I was told that the prices may very well go up, including all of the rumored 3000 educ. discount prices. Basically, you can't be sure what is going to happen to the prices after June 30. That is the point when Commodore limits which dealers can sell on discount and will reevaluate pricing. I am planning on buying an A3000 under discount and I think I'll get my check in before June 30! Does anyone know the truth to the future pricing? -- Ethan Ethan Solomita: es1@cunixb.cc.columbia.edu "If Commodore had to market sushi they'd call it `raw cold fish'" -- The Bandito, inevitably stolen from someone else
