Summary: What's all this then? Keywords: Amiga 3000 recall demo stores Message-ID: <3841@pikes.Colorado.EDU> Date: 30 May 90 09:30:48 GMT Reply-To: bscott@nyx.cs.du.edu (Infinite K) Organization: University of Colorado, Denver Lines: 16 I heard today from a reliable source that Commodore is recalling the demo A-3000s they distributed to stores; some unspecified (by my source, at any rate) hardware problem. Has anyone heard more about this? The reported reaction of a local store manager was that he wanted Commodore to send him a new one before he sent back his 3000 that was bringing so many customers in! And I don't really blame him. Hardware problems are to be expected this early, but why a "recall"? . <<<>>> -- |Ben Scott, professional goof-off and consultant at The Raster Image, Denver| |Available at FIDO address 1:104/421.2 & the Arvada 68K BBS at (303)424-9831| |THIS ADDRESS IS NOT NECESSARILY RELIABLE!
