Has anyone managed to get an HST to work with this > software? I've had the same problems some time ago. My old Supra worked fine, and my HST didn't. It depends on the modem of your host. Mine had a Tahihao or whatever they're called and this modem was more or less incompatible with my HST. I solved the problem with re-writing part of uucico. Try to add some lines that slow uucico down while connecting (NOT while transmitting :-). Somehow my HST sent the connect data (name, pw and so on) too fast for the other modem. By adding some delay it worked. I also had to add a working break-sending-support, but note that all this was with a very old version of AmigaUUCP. Since I had never any problems with AmigaUUCP 1.03 or 1.05 I suspect it must be your host's modem. Try to find another site. -- ------------------------------------ Chris Brand - wizard@sosaria.imp.com "Justice is the possession and doing of what one is entitled to" - Platon ------------------------------------
