When I ran the program it displayed a banner proclaiming that it was an unregistered copy of the program, and explicitly stated that it was NOT P.D.! I have deleted my copy, and since replaced it with HamGIF (which I assume is P.D.). Where I come from, public distribution of commercial products in this manner is called piracy. Unfortunately, I kept no record of the site's address or I would have sent some rather pointed e-mail. If someone else on the net comes across this or a similar posting regarding VirtGIF please let the poster know that they are definitely not doing a good thing. -- John Meissen ...............................
