Message-ID: <1990Jun2.100851.14593@utu.fi> Date: 2 Jun 90 10:08:51 GMT Organization: University of Turku, Finland Lines: 22 Just wondering, what is the latest release for TxEd+? The version I have is 2.2 (if I recall correctly) which I bought last fall, but it has some bugs/features I'd like corrected. I have sent two bug reports to MicroSmiths Inc. but they haven't responded to them in any way. If they actually have a new release available, I'd like to know their upgrade procedure (I have sent in my registration card along with a query about the upgrade possibilities but they didn't reply). Is Charlie Heath too busy doing contract work for Commodore-Amiga to support TxEd+? BTW, has anyone noticed this bug in TxEd+ or is it just my environment which causes problems: Very infrequently a TxEd+-macro will 'freeze' - it never returns to TxEd and leaves ARexx (or was it the task executing the macro) eating all available CPU-cycles. I have not found any common feature in these 'freezing' macros - any TxEd+-macro can freeze at any point (but very infrequently, perhaps once in a hundred macro invocations). I don't think it is an ARexx-related problem as only TxEd-macros are affected. I use WShell and therefore fire up TxEd+ with the -RESI flag. Kari Sutela sutela@polaris.utu.fi PS. This is a repost, since the original article got lost (at least, that's what I think). I apologize, if you already saw this article.
