Wack the monitor on the side, you might convince it to stop, just like you wack a kid who whines to much. My old 1080 whines from time to time, and a good beating sometimes straightens it up. This type of problem usually happens long after the monitor has been put in service. With time and heat, a certain capacitor is likely to loosen up and start vibrating at 15KHz. Rather annoying to people with normal hearing, but totally harmless to foot-loose teenagers. :-) Valentin -- The Goddess of democracy?
