I'm having a problem with my XT bridgeboard.  I haven't had a chance to
take it in for a checkup yet, so I thought I'd see if anyone had any
suggestions for me.

I can not get the 5 1/4 drive to format disks.  It will read and write
to disks that have been already formatted just fine.  When I do try to
format it acts as if I've left the drive door open or something.  I get
error messages that something like "Device Error".  What I'm hoping is
that this is some kind of software problem, but I kind of don't think
so.  Anyone have an idea about what's going on here?
