I have a 500 and will eventually upgrade to a 3000.  I will also be
getting a VCR in the next couple of years.  My fiance insists that we
find a VCR that will play both NTSC and PAL tapes.  (She said she's seen
a couple before.)  Well, I want to know if it would be wise to keep the
old 1084S since I know it will do PAL on Dave Hayne's Amiga (hehe) or is
there any reason that it would not work?

By the way, does anyone have any suggestions for finding a VCR that does
both NTSC and PAL?
