This driver works with Kermit65 and 850 Express!; I am not sure (have not tried it) whether it works with BobTerm. In essence, it makes the SX212 on the serial daisy-chain "look like" the SX212 connected via the Atari 850 Interface Module's serial port. Download this file (with ASCII -> ATASCII translation!), UUdecode it with YAU.COM posted previously, and you will have the file RVERT212.BIN. You may use this in several ways: 1) LOAD it, from DOS, before loading your favorite terminal-program. 2) Make a COPY of this file, then COPY/APPEND a copy of your terminal program onto this file. (This has the same effect as method (1) - it loads RVERT212.BIN before loading your terminal software - but this latter method causes DOS to do the two loads FOR you.) *** NOTE! *** In order for either of these two methods to work, your terminal program must NOT already have an R: device handler in the same load-file (some distributions of 850 Express!, for example, have had Atari's standard "R:" device handler prepended to the actual term program). If your term program still won't talk to the SX212-on-the-serial-daisy-chain after you've pre-loaded RVERT212.BIN, you may have such a situation. The already-attached handler may be removed and replaced by RVERT212.BIN, but the details are beyond the scope of this introduction. ----- begin 666 RVERT212.BIN M__\ '0(=3(X?"AT6'0$ "@"P ! @ 9'5 = *D C5$=C5(=C5,=8*Y3y M'>C0 6"N41V=5!WN41WN4QU@KE,=T %@KE(=O50=[E(=SE,=8*U3'6!4'HH>y MJ0"-BQZ-C!Z-C1Y@KHT>Z- !8*Z+'IV.'NZ+'NZ-'F"NC1[0 6"NC!Z]CA[Ny MC![.C1Y@K8T>8(X?B2"E#(V<'Z4-C9T?3)X?_P J9N%#*D?A0VI 8WG JDDy MC>@"J0"-$!V-$AVB * 0O1H#\ O)4O 'Z.CHB-#Q8*E2G1H#J=^=&P.I'YTH ",%AV-y MZP+(C!$=8*D C1 =C1(=(%@BH %@K1(=\ H@31WP^R Z': !8*P0'= #H(5@y MK H=\ ,@0R/)#= 8(%@@K!0=\ 6I"B!8(*P2'= #(-0@H %@C0D=K1(=T".My M"1W-"QW0"*T*'? 3K0D=#0P=(& >K8T>R?_0 R#4(* !8"",(""4(*"*((4Ay M 6"MC1[)__#Y8'BM$1W0"ZT)'0T,'2!@'EA@K0D=T 6L"AW0"PT,'8T-TJD y MC1$=6&"M%1WP#R $(:T5'2WK LT5'=#R8" V(F"MC1[P)R"\(*D C1$=C0T=y M('0>C0W2K1$=\/NE$ D(A1"-#M*M#1WP^TS4("!8(F"M$AWP%*U3'8WK JD y MC>P"K8T>C>T"3&HAK>L"2BET"0&-&1VE%(T('2!8(JT TZT!TZT#TRG\C0/3y MK0+3*?R- M,@-B*M ],I@(WK JT"TRF 2DI*2@WK @T9'8WK J44S0@=T+ZMy M$!V%*J C.H"R&"M$AW0'J4BR2#0 R"D((#8B:&"M#AV- -*-!-*M#QV- M*-!M)@K18=T!P@>R(@(R(@B2(@J"*My M M,I]XT"TZ !C!8=R-#]8*T6'? =J0"-%AT@UR(@LB*M M,)"(T"TZ($H "(y MT/W*T/I@J7B-"-*IC0W23,LCJ0&-$1UHJFBH:$"I 8T-y M':40*?>%$(T.TFA H O-3.-%;SV5+L ?]AE&%Z +S 7C NH!;@&S %8 5@#Gy + N@" 23B N,"CA\ y end
