I have a 'mature' 520 ST (Bought in April '86) which has the RF modulator, TOS in ROM (1.0 11/20/85), reset button on the back, 512K, External disk drive and power supplies. I want to go up to AT LEAST 2.5 Meg Which memory upgrade kit should I get? I've heard conflicting stories regarding Tech Specialties ("Most reliable" vs "Bad delivery/support"). I've seen the ads for Zubair's Z-RAM I've read the (net) review of JRI. I want to AVOID as much soldering/trace cutting/major surgery as possible (not that I haven't done more than my share of hardware mods to various computer systems/radios/industrial electronics, I'm just TIRED of HAVING to do that :-) :-) What's the net.wisdom?
