I've used DCFORMAT and the disks produced are readable by the MSDOS 3.3 PC's around here but none of them will write to the disks. I just copy the boot sector (of a disk that has been formatted on a PC with MSDOS 3.3) onto the newly ST desktop formatted disk (altering the serial number of course). THis is the only way I've found that produces MSDOS 3.3 writable disks. Kevin Maguire Nsfnet : sa44%liv.ac.uk@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk Uucp : ...!mcsun!ukc!liv-ib!sa44
