What seems to occur is: 1) The session is begin with a UN*X command line statement. 2) The modem dials the line 3) Before the modem completes the link, the SNA software begins data transmission, causing the modem to error. AT&T points at Racal-Milgo, Racal-Milgo points a AT&T... I don't have time for this finger pointing.. Who can recommend a modem ( 9600, sync, Dial-On-DTR, V.32 ) that is *known* to work in this configuration.
