I am (still) trying to get gas working on our Encore Multimax. Apparently,
it is blind to several of the pseudo-ops being generated. Specifically, I
need to know what to do with the following:

	def
	dim
	endef
	ln
	scl
	size
	tag
	type
	val

when read. Apparently, all other p-ops are handled by gas. Once I write 
routines to handle these, then place them in the MD_PSEUDO_OPS table, I
will only have to teach write.c how to produce COFF.
