A program (INPRT) allows you to print your 28 data into your 48.

This should work but you may have to make you own adapter for the
HP cable and write some short code to log you in.  The 48 does
not include a terminal emulator to make this easy but one has been
posted in this notes group.  Also, the HP48 has not been certified
for use with modems.
