I use a 1 megabyte expanded memory cache. I think that the problem is real, because I can see disk accesses happening (via the disk access light). I tried adjusting some of the parameters, especially the MAX= one, but it didn't seem to help. I've heard that the new PC-Cache is a complete rewrite from the old one. I think that the new version, just plain has some bugs. I wonder if the problem might be because I have a 65 megabyte drive, set up as a single logical volume under DOS 4.01. I've went back to the 5.5 version for the time being. -- Joel Upchurch/Upchurch Computer Consulting/718 Galsworthy/Orlando, FL 32809 joel@peora.ccur.com {uiucuxc,hoptoad,petsd,ucf-cs}!peora!joel (407) 859-0982
