Well, now I STILL have a problem. I took everyone's advice and wrote the whole bloody terminal program in Assembler. I use a BASIC driver for it to set up my parameters, but once a carrier is detected, the assembler program takes over and holds control until I press SHIFT-CLEAR. Alas, I still have the same problem. The moment I mess with the Modem's registers to send or receive data, the cartridge's terminal program takes control, just as though I had issued an EXEC &HC000. What can be the problem? I do call two BASIC routines (POLCAT and CHROUT), could that be the problem? I masked all interrupts (except NMI ;} ) like the manual said to. If anyone requests it, I will send my source code to help. Once again, thanks to all you 6809ers out there! ------- ******************************************************************************* Randy Kaelber, starts Friday at a theatre near you: RK5RSANU@MIAMIU.BITNET, rskaelber@miavx1.acs.muohio.edu ******************************************************************************* "Even joined in bonds of love, "We're linked to one another by such slender threads." - RUSH, "Entre Nous"
